Sn(65)Sb(18)Cu(17) sample 2. Cu edge
fluoresence. Beam size reduced by reducing the horizontal exit aperture
from ~5 m to ~ 3mm. Also, the beam was re-centered on the thickest part
of the sample (viewed in transmission) in order to avoid fluorescence from
the underlying cu subtrate. Preiminary inspection fo the
near-edge shows similarity to fcc Cu, but run allowed to continue. |

Sample 3 has holes and veins that expose the underlying
substrate as Faisal had suspected. Sample 2 scan looks too close to fcc Cu,
and so, it is aborted.at the point ~800 eV above the edge. |
