Opportunities in the Physics and Astronomy Program

The MAGNET-SEM program, directed by Prof. Godfrey Gumbs of our department, is a partnership of CUNY colleges and independent institutions throughout the tri-state area. This NSF-funded program provides research opportunities for graduate students in science, engineering and mathematics programs. The MAGNET-SEM Newsletter (a .pdf file) provides an overview of the many research possibilities offered by this program; more information is available on their website.

Read about other sources of financial aid for our students, both undergraduate and graduate.

Undergraduate and graduate students in physics and astronomy have many employment opportunities.
